The NEET-UG Counselling 2025 process will soon begin, paving the way for admissions to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while state authorities will manage admissions for 85% state quota seats.

 

How NEET-UG Counselling 2025 Works?

The counselling process involves several steps, starting with online registration. Candidates must log in to the official MCC portal, fill out their choices of colleges, and lock preferences.

  • Registration: Done online on MCC and state portals.
  • Choice Filling: Candidates list colleges in order of preference.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on NEET-UG rank, category, and seat availability.
  • Rounds of Counselling: Four rounds – Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy.

Candidates can apply simultaneously for both AIQ and state quota seats.
