The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated platform for reporting fake paper leak claims, impersonation attempts and examination-related fraud ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The re-exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2026, with authorities introducing multiple security measures, including enhanced monitoring and secure transportation of question papers.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam on June 21: NTA Launches Fraud Reporting Portal

NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be held on June 21 for eligible candidates. Ahead of the exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a portal to report fake paper leak claims and misleading information, aiming to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. With the re-examination approaching, the agency has introduced a dedicated reporting platform to curb misinformation, fake paper leak claims and impersonation attempts targeting candidates. The latest initiative comes amid heightened security arrangements and continuous monitoring of online activities related to the examination. Authorities have urged candidates and parents to rely only on official communications and avoid falling victim to fraudulent claims circulating on social media platforms.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Reporting Portal Introduced by NTA

As part of efforts to strengthen examination transparency, NTA has launched a dedicated online platform through which students, parents and members of the public can report suspicious activities linked to NEET UG 2026. The platform has been designed to collect information regarding fake paper leak claims, fraudulent websites, impersonation attempts and other misleading activities that may affect candidates. Officials have stated that complaints submitted through the portal will be examined confidentially and appropriate action will be taken wherever necessary. The agency has clarified that the portal aims to create a secure channel for reporting misinformation and preventing the spread of unverified content ahead of the examination.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21, 2026, after the earlier examination was cancelled following allegations related to a paper leak controversy. The re-test is expected to be held across hundreds of examination centres in India and selected international locations. According to the examination schedule, candidates are not required to complete a fresh registration process. Previously registered candidates remain eligible to appear in the re-examination and have been issued fresh admit cards. Officials have reiterated that the examination pattern, marking scheme and subject distribution will remain unchanged from the original notification. Candidates will continue to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology sections through the offline pen-and-paper mode.

NTA Warns Students Against Fake Paper Leak Messages

Ahead of the examination, several claims regarding alleged paper leaks and advance access to question papers have surfaced online. NTA has dismissed such claims and described them as misleading and fraudulent. The agency has advised students not to trust any individual, website, messaging group or social media account claiming to provide access to the NEET UG 2026 Question Paper before the examination date. Officials have stressed that no person can legally access the question paper before the scheduled examination. Candidates have also been urged to avoid making payments to unknown individuals or groups promising guaranteed admission, leaked papers or examination assistance. Such activities may lead to financial fraud and legal consequences.

Enhanced Security Measures Announced for NEET UG 2026

To ensure a fair and secure examination process, authorities have implemented a multi-layer security framework for the re-examination. Security agencies, examination authorities and administrative departments are working together to strengthen monitoring mechanisms before and during the examination. Several new measures have reportedly been introduced, including increased surveillance, secure transportation of examination materials, stricter monitoring of examination centres and dedicated complaint-reporting systems. Authorities have also conducted training programmes for examination personnel across the country to ensure that procedures are followed uniformly and efficiently on examination day. The enhanced arrangements are intended to restore confidence among candidates and ensure that the examination is conducted without disruption.

Indian Air Force to Assist in Question Paper Transportation

One of the significant security measures introduced for the re-examination involves the transportation of question papers through secure channels, including support from the Indian Air Force. Officials have indicated that the move is aimed at strengthening the confidentiality and safety of examination materials during transit. The transportation process has been placed under strict supervision to minimise risks and maintain the integrity of the examination. The use of additional security resources reflects the authorities' focus on preventing any irregularities during the conduct of the examination.

Telegram Restrictions and Government Crackdown on Exam Fraud

The government has also taken action against digital platforms allegedly linked to examination fraud and misinformation campaigns. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on Telegram ahead of the examination period as part of broader efforts to prevent organised cheating networks from targeting candidates. The decision has generated public discussion regarding examination security and online misinformation. Authorities, however, have maintained that the restrictions were introduced to safeguard the integrity of the examination and reduce opportunities for fraudulent activities. Alongside digital monitoring, law enforcement agencies continue to investigate cases related to fake paper leak claims and examination fraud networks operating through online platforms.

NEET UG 2026 Admit Cards Released for Candidates

NTA has already released NEET Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the re-examination. Aspirants can access their hall tickets through the official examination portal using their login credentials. Candidates have been advised to carefully verify personal details, examination centre information and reporting instructions mentioned on the admit card. Any discrepancy should be reported immediately through official channels before the examination date. Examination authorities have also encouraged candidates to reach their designated centres well before the reporting time and strictly follow all examination guidelines.

What Candidates Should Do Before the NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam?

With only a few days remaining before the examination, candidates are advised to focus on official updates and avoid distractions caused by rumours or unverified information. Examination authorities have repeatedly emphasised that authentic information will be communicated only through official notices and announcements. Students should ensure that they download and print their admit cards, verify examination centre details, carry valid identification documents and follow all instructions issued by NTA. Maintaining awareness through official communication channels will help candidates avoid confusion and focus on their preparation. The launch of the reporting portal, enhanced security arrangements and strict monitoring measures indicate a coordinated effort by authorities to conduct the NEET UG 2026 re-examination in a transparent, secure and fair manner. With the examination scheduled for June 21, 2026, candidates are expected to benefit from the strengthened systems put in place to protect the integrity of one of India's largest entrance examinations.
