The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 is expected to be conducted in early May 2026, with the official schedule likely to be announced soon by the National Testing Agency. Aspirants aiming to secure high marks in the medical entrance exam are advised to follow a focused 90-day preparation plan covering conceptual clarity, mock practice, and strategic revision

NEET UG 2026 Expected Exam Schedule

Based on trends from previous years and education experts’ expectations, the NEET UG 2026 examination is anticipated to take place around early May 2026. This would give students roughly three months from late January or early February to finalise their preparation before the exam day. The official notification confirming the exact NEET 2026 exam date, application form release, and admit card dates is expected in late January or early February 2026.

90-Day Preparation Plan to Aim for 720

With a limited period left before the exam, a structured study plan can help aspirants strengthen their preparation across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates should divide the 90-day timeframe into phases that emphasise concept building, practice, and revision:

Weeks 1–4: Build Strong Fundamentals

Focus on conceptual understanding of key topics in all subjects.
Create concise notes for formulas, reactions, and diagrams.
Ensure NCERT textbooks are thoroughly covered, especially for Biology.

Weeks 5–8: Practice and Mock Tests

Begin solving regular mock tests, at least 2 per week.
Analyse errors and revise weak areas promptly.
Prioritise chapters with higher weightage in past NEET papers.

Weeks 9–12: Revision and Final Touches

Avoid studying new topics; focus on revision of high-yield content.
Revisit short notes, NCERT line-by-line content, and mock test mistakes.
Strengthen memory of diagrams and footnotes, especially in Biology and Inorganic Chemistry.

Tips to Maximise Score in NEET UG 2026

Achieving the top score of 720 out of 720 requires not only hard work but a disciplined preparation strategy:

Cover NCERT syllabus thoroughly, as most questions are based on it.
Memorise important diagrams, tables, and reaction mechanisms.
Take a large number of full-length mock tests to build speed and accuracy.
Track and learn from mistakes — every error should be reviewed and corrected.

How to Use Mock Tests Effectively?

Mock tests are a critical part of NEET preparation:

They simulate exam conditions to build timing and stress handling skills.
Detailed analysis after each test helps identify persistent weak areas.
Aim for a mix of chapter-wise and full-length tests to cover the entire syllabus systematically.

Final Advice for Aspirants

Students should maintain a balanced routine with adequate rest, health care, and consistent practice. Focused study, disciplined mock test practice, and timely revision are key to boosting confidence ahead of the NEET UG 2026 exam. With a clear 90-day roadmap, aspirants can improve their chances of scoring at the top of the merit list.
