The National Testing Agency has instructed candidates to verify and update several key documents before filling the NEET UG 2026 application form. According to the advisory:
- Aadhaar Card: Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar card details — including name, date of birth, gender, photograph, address, and biometric information (where applicable) — are correct and up to date. Any mismatch with application details may cause issues.
- UDID Card (for PwD candidates): Aspirants claiming reservation under the Persons with Disabilities category must have a valid and updated UDID card.
- Category Certificate: Applicants seeking reservation benefits under categories such as EWS, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL are required to possess valid and updated certificates in the prescribed format.
The advisory aims to streamline the application process and reduce errors during verification at later stages, including admit card issuance and counselling.
