NEET SS 2025 Correction Window Opens — Edit Forms by Nov 30, 2025

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBE) has opened the NEET SS 2025 application correction window from Nov 28, 2025, allowing registered candidates to update select details in their forms. Candidates must complete edits by Nov 30, 2025; a final edit window for photo, signature and thumb impression is scheduled for Dec 12, 2025. The Board has clarified a typographical error on its portal that incorrectly mentioned Oct 30 as the deadline—candidates should follow the corrected dates above. The correction opportunity is timed to let applicants review academic particulars and attachments before finalisation. Students should prioritise accurate uploads of category certificates and images to avoid disqualification at later stages.

What Candidates Can and Cannot Edit in NEET SS 2025 Forms?

Before presenting the official steps, note that the correction process is split into two phases. The first phase permits edits to most academic and personal particulars except a small set of permanent identifiers. The final edit phase (images only) begins on Dec 12 and is strictly for photograph, signature, and thumb impression corrections. The first correction phase is the broader window for academic and other data; however, certain fields are locked to preserve identity integrity. The final edit window is reserved for image/biometric fixes only — proof documents should be ready for upload in the prescribed formats.

How to Edit NEET SS 2025 Application — Step-by-Step?

Candidates must use their User ID and password on natboard.edu.in to access the correction portal. Follow these steps:

1. Sign in at natboard.edu.in and select the NEET SS section.
2. Click the Application link under the 2025 session.
3. Enter User ID, Password and security code to access the form.
4. Choose Application Correction and modify permitted fields.
5. Upload supporting documents where required (category certificates, mark sheets).
6. Verify edits, submit the corrected form and save the confirmation page.

Candidates should retain the confirmation copy and check file formats and size limits before upload.

Practical Tips and Common Pitfalls to Avoid

• Check images: Photo and signature must meet NBE specifications; final image edits open on Dec 12 only.
• Category evidence: Upload clear, legible certificates during Phase 1; missing documents may invalidate claims.
• Locked fields: Do not attempt to change name, nationality, email, mobile, or exam city—these remain final.
• Portal errors: If the portal shows old dates (Oct 30), rely on the corrected timeline and official notices.

Completing corrections within the Nov 28–Nov 30 window is critical — delays may prevent important updates before result processing.
