NEET PG Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025 Expected Result Date Update

The Medical Counselling Committee has extended the schedule for NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025. The seat allotment result, which was expected on December 12, 2025, will now be released only after December 13, 2025. The change follows the extended window for choice filling and choice locking for candidates participating in Round 2.

The Round 2 counselling process remains crucial for candidates who could not secure a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotted seat. All choices submitted and locked by the candidates will be processed after the revised deadlines, and the allotment result will be prepared based on these preferences.

NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025: Revised Dates

Candidates can check the updated schedule for NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2025 as given below.

  • NEET PG Round 2 Choice Filling and Locking 2025 - December 6 to 13, 2025 (up to 1 PM)
  • NEET PG Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025 - To be announced (Earlier date: December 12, 2025)
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges - December 13 to 21, 2025 (original schedule, may change)

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must complete the choice filling and choice locking process within the extended deadlines. The choice locking option will be available from 4 PM on December 12, 2025, and candidates must lock their choices before 1 PM on December 13, 2025. Those who fail to lock choices manually will have their last saved preferences auto-locked.

Once the allotment result is declared, candidates must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted college within the given window. They must carry all original documents for verification. Any discrepancy in documentation can lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 should note that their previously allotted Round 1 seat (if any) will be automatically cancelled. Upgraded candidates must ensure timely reporting to avoid losing their seat.

With the revised schedule, the NEET PG Round 2 seat allotment process now offers candidates additional time to make informed choices and improve their chances of securing a preferred seat across MD, MS, and DNB programs.
