NEET PG 2025: Supreme Court Reviews PIL on ‘Ambiguous’ Answer Key

NEET PG 2025 faced a lot of controversy after students filed a PIL questioning the clarity of the answer key released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The plea highlights transparency issues in evaluation and has sparked nationwide student protests.

Why Students Are Protesting Against NEET PG 2025 Answer Key?

Below are some of the reasons Students Are Protesting Against the NEET PG 2025 Answer Key.

  • NBEMS correction notice (Aug 21, 2025) introduced a new system showing responses only with Question ID Numbers.
  • Since exam questions/options were shuffled, students cannot properly cross-verify their answers.
  • Petitioners argue that this violates the purpose of answer key publication, making it non-transparent and unverifiable.
  • The plea highlights the violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution, claiming the unfair evaluation practices.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Latest Update
