During reporting, candidates should carry the allotment letter, NEET PG 2025 scorecard, original academic documents, identity proof, and any other certificates required by the institution.
Importance of the Stray Vacancy Round Result
The stray vacancy round is conducted by MCC to fill medical postgraduate seats (MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB) that remain vacant after the regular counselling rounds due to non‑joining or seat cancellation. This round gives eligible candidates an additional opportunity to secure a medical seat under the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling process. A total of 2,980 clear vacancies were reported for the final stray round, and adjustment of eligibility criteria — such as a lowered percentile cut‑off — expanded the pool of counselling participants.
