NEET PG 2025: SC Hearing on Answer Key Transparency Postponed

The Supreme Court of India has postponed the hearing on a plea seeking greater transparency in the NEET PG 2025 answer key. The matter will now be taken up after two weeks. Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule soon on the official website, mcc.nic.in, for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) MD and MS seats.

NEET PG 2025 Supreme Court Case: What It Is About

Several aspirants have challenged the current system of answer key publication by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Petitioners argued that releasing only question IDs without the full question paper makes it difficult to verify answers. The plea also contends that the lack of transparency violates Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, as candidates are unable to check or challenge their responses fairly. The Court has assured that the matter will be taken up on priority after the adjournment.
