The Supreme Court of India has postponed the hearing on the NEET PG 2025 answer key transparency plea by two weeks. The petition, filed by postgraduate medical aspirants, sought greater clarity in the answer key released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule soon on the official website — mcc.nic.in.
NEET PG 2025 Supreme Court Case Explained
The petitioners argued that NBEMS released only the answer key with question IDs, making it difficult for candidates to verify their responses. Aspirants requested the release of the complete NEET PG 2025 question paper alongside the answer key. Candidates claimed that the current process created ambiguity and limited their right to a fair evaluation. They further contended that the non-disclosure of the question paper violated Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India. The Supreme Court has assured that the matter will be taken up on priority after two weeks. Until then, the case remains under consideration.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling Dates to Be Announced Soon

The NEET PG 2025 AIQ merit list has already been published, and only candidates named in this list will be eligible to participate. The detailed counselling schedule, including round-wise dates and registration guidelines, is expected to be released shortly at mcc.nic.in.
