The Supreme Court hearing on the NEET PG 2025 answer key transparency issue has been postponed to September 26, 2025. The case, which questions the clarity and verification process of the answer key released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), will be taken up as a priority matter.
NEET PG 2025 Answer Key Dispute in the Supreme Court
The petitioners have challenged the answer key published by NBEMS, calling it “ambiguous, opaque, and incapable of meaningful verification.” The controversy arose after the board issued a corrective notice citing question IDs, correct answers, and responses, which candidates allege was insufficient for proper cross-checking. The Supreme Court will hear arguments not only on this corrective notice but also on the demand for greater transparency in NEET PG evaluation.
