Reporting and Admission Schedule
Candidates who have been allotted seats under Round-3 counselling must report to the respective allotted colleges for document verification and admission confirmation from 4 February to 11 February 2026. During reporting, candidates need to carry original documents such as:
- NEET PG 2025 admit card and scorecard
- Seat allotment letter (downloaded PDF)
- MBBS degree and internship certificate
- Medical registration proof
- Category/reservation certificates (where applicable)
- Photo ID and passport-size photographs
Failing to report within this window may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat, and such vacancies may be later filled in subsequent stray vacancy rounds.
Provisional Result and Discrepancy Reporting
The allotment result released on 3 February 2026 is provisional. Candidates who spot any discrepancies or errors in the allotment details should immediately email the MCC at mccresultquery@gmail.com with supporting evidence by the deadline specified by the committee. If no issues are raised, the provisional result will be treated as final.
Context and Cut-Off Trends
Round-3 counselling was held after the MCC revised the NEET PG knockout cut-off percentiles and updated the seat matrix to include additional vacancies. This round aims to fill leftover seats after Round 2, including seats carried forward into the stray vacancy round if still unfilled. The announcement of the Round-3 seat allotment result marks a crucial step in the postgraduate medical admission process for thousands of aspirants. Those who have secured seats now proceed to complete admission formalities, while others may consider participation in the stray vacancy round if seats remain.
