The NEET PG 2025 counselling round-3 seat allotment result was officially released on 3 February 2026 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 3 February 2026 declared the NEET PG 2025 counselling round-3 seat allotment result. The result list has been uploaded in PDF format on the official MCC portal mcc.nic.in. Candidates who registered for the third round can download the allotment result PDF and verify whether they have been allotted seats in MD/MS/DNB courses under the postgraduate medical admission process.
NEET PG Round-3 Seat Allotment Result: How to Check and Download?
The seat allotment result PDF for round-3 includes candidate details based on NEET PG rank, choices filled, reservation, and seat availability. Candidates should follow the steps below:
- Visit the official MCC counselling portal at mcc.nic.in.
- Navigate to the “PG Medical Counselling” section.
- Click on the round-3 seat allotment result link.
- Download the PDF allotment list.
- Use Ctrl + F to search for the roll number to check allotment status.
The allotment list shows roll number, category, allotted institute and course details for candidates who have secured seats this round.
Reporting and Document Verification Schedule
Candidates allotted seats in round-3 must report to the allotted medical college for document verification and admission confirmation from 4 February to 11 February 2026. Required original documents typically include:
- NEET PG admit card and rank letter
- MBBS degree and internship completion certificate
- Medical registration proof
- Category certificates (if applicable)
- Seat allotment letter and fee receipt
Failing to report within the specified timeline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat, and such seats can be transferred to subsequent rounds such as stray vacancy counselling where applicable
Recent Counselling Schedule and Related Updates
The MCC had earlier revised the round-3 counselling schedule, extending deadlines for choice filling and locking before final processing. Candidates were able to declare and lock preferences until 2 February 2026. The seat allotment was then processed, culminating in the result announcement on 3 February 2026. In addition to the national MCC round, state counselling authorities may release separate results for state quota seats based on joined-candidate data provided by the MCC after AIQ seat allotment.
What Happens After Seat Allotment?
After downloading the seat allotment result and reporting to the allotted institute, candidates must complete the admission formalities, which include document verification and fee payment as per institutional guidelines. Once the reporting period ends on 11 February 2026, the next counselling activity — potentially a stray vacancy round — may be conducted if seats remain unfilled. The declaration of the NEET PG 2025 round-3 seat allotment result marks a crucial step in the postgraduate medical admission cycle, determining placements for thousands of aspiring doctors across India.
