NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Final Allotment Result Out; 10,084 Fresh Seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has formally announced the final seat allotment result for NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling, marking a key step in postgraduate medical admissions for MD, MS, and DNB programs. Aspirants who have been allotted seats can now proceed with the admission formalities as per official guidelines.

Key Outcomes of NEET PG Round 3 Allotment

The latest result reflects changes made after resolving technical issues and seat duplication, leading to the withdrawal of two seats from the earlier provisional list. The revised figure shows that:

  • 10,084 candidates secured fresh seat allotments
  • 8,589 aspirants received seat upgrades
  • Several candidates did not fill fresh choices or opted for upgradation
  • 4,578 candidates remained unallotted in this round

Candidates can download their seat allotment letters from the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in) to begin admission procedures.

College Reporting and Admission Process

According to MCC’s revised schedule, candidates must physically report to their allotted colleges starting from 12:00 noon on 6 February 2026. Though the initial reporting window was set from 4 February to 11 February 2026, the process commenced two days later due to scheduling adjustments. Reporting involves verification of documents, fee submission, and confirmation of admission. Candidates are advised to carry multiple copies of their allotment letters and necessary credentials to the allotted college.

What Candidates Should Know Next?

Post-allotment, it is essential for candidates to complete the joining formalities within the prescribed timeline. Failure to do so may result in the seat being treated as “Null & Void.” The MCC may provide further extensions or updates, and aspirants are encouraged to regularly check the official portal for the latest instructions and any changes to reporting deadlines. With Round 3 results now finalised, candidates can move into the next phase of their NEET PG admission journey, bringing them closer to securing postgraduate medical seats in institutions across India.
