The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the Round 1 seat allotment result for NEET PG 2025. A total of 26,889 candidates — including 466 under NRI quota — have been allotted seats across MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB programmes under the All India Quota. The result announcement comes after registration, choice filling and seat-matrix updates. Candidates must verify the allotment status and prepare for reporting and admission procedures.
How to Check NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Allotment Status?
The allotment list, provisional and final, is now available on MCC’s official portal. Candidates can follow the steps below to check their seat allotment:
- Visit the MCC website (mcc.nic.in)
- Click on “NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Allotment Result” link
- Enter required credentials to view the allotment status
- Download the allotment letter or seat allotment result for reference
MCC has allowed candidates to submit any grievances regarding provisional allotment by 12 noon on November 22, 2025. After that, the result becomes final.
Schedule for Admission & Next Rounds of NEET PG Counselling
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must report to their allotted institute between November 23 and December 1, 2025 for document verification and admission. MCC has also announced the schedule for Round 2 counselling: registrations and choice filling will resume from December 5 to December 9, 2025. This round will allot remaining seats, including newly added ones following seat-matrix revision.
What the Allotment Means for Candidates?
- Being allotted a seat under NEET PG 2025 Round 1 means candidates must act quickly to complete admission formalities before the reporting deadline.
- Those not allotted seats or dissatisfied with their allotment can participate in Round 2 or subsequent stray/vacancy rounds.
- The seat allotment is based on merit (NEET PG rank), choices filled, quota/reservation, and seat-matrix as updated for 2025.
Given recent seat-matrix changes — with addition of newly approved seats in deemed universities and adjustment of DNB seat numbers — the counselling rounds may see shifting availability.
