MCC Extends NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Reporting Timeline
The Medical Counselling Committee extended the Round 2 reporting deadline for NEET PG 2025 counselling by 1 day. Earlier, the reporting deadline was scheduled for December 25, 2025. As per the official update, candidates were permitted to complete reporting formalities till December 26, 2025, 6:00 PM. This extension applied only to candidates who were allotted seats through Round 2 counselling. The Round 2 seat allotment result was published on December 16, 2025 in PDF format. The result included details such as roll number, allotted institute, course, All India Rank and category.
NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment and Reporting Process
Reporting is the final and mandatory step in the NEET PG 2025 admission process. Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 were required to download their allotment letter and report physically to the assigned institute within the extended deadline. The reporting process for Round 2 began on December 17, 2025. As per counselling rules, failure to report physically within the stipulated timeline resulted in forfeiture of the allotted seat. Proxy reporting or online reporting was not permitted under any circumstances. Candidates were required to complete document verification and admission formalities directly at the allotted institute.
Documents Required for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Reporting
Candidates were instructed to carry original documents along with photocopies for verification. The following documents were mandatory at the time of reporting:
- NEET PG 2025 admit card
- NEET PG 2025 result or rank letter
- Class 10 marksheet or birth certificate
- All MBBS marksheets
- MBBS degree certificate
- Internship completion certificate
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by MCI or SMC
- Valid and non-expired photo identity proof
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Non-creamy layer certificate, if applicable
- Disability certificate, if applicable
Candidates were advised to ensure that all documents were valid and in original form to avoid cancellation of admission.
Important Advisory for NEET PG 2025 Candidates
MCC had clearly stated that physical presence during reporting was compulsory. Any candidate failing to report within the extended deadline automatically lost the allotted seat, with no further opportunity under Round 2. Candidates were also advised to regularly monitor official counselling notifications for further updates related to subsequent rounds or institutional reporting guidelines.
