The seat-allotment result for Round 1 is scheduled for 22 November 2025. There have been updates to the seat-matrix: 239 new PG seats in deemed universities were sanctioned by the National Medical Commission (NMC), while 235 PG DNB seats (186 government + 49 private) have been withdrawn, prompting a recast of the roster.

NEET PG 2025 Eligibility & Quotas
- The counselling by MCC covers 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MD/MS/DNB PG courses.
- Candidates must have qualified the NEET PG 2025 exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to be eligible.
- Seat allocations are influenced by category-wise reservation, domicile/state quotas (for remaining seats outside AIQ), and merit.
NEET PG 2025 Application & Counselling Process
- Visit the official MCC portal: mcc.nic.in.
- Complete registration and pay the required fee. For example: General category (AIQ) fee ~ INR 1,000, SC/ST/OBC ~ INR 500.
- Fill in your choices of colleges/courses (choice filling) and lock them before the deadline.
- Seat allocation will be done based on rank, choices, availability and category.
- After allotment, candidates must report to the allotted institute during the specified reporting period (23 Nov-1 Dec 2025) to secure the seat.
- If you wish to upgrade or move to Round 2, follow the process for subsequent rounds.
NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix, Cut-Off & Updates
- The seat matrix was updated with 239 new PG seats for deemed universities — NMC authorised. Meanwhile, 235 PG DNB seats (186 government + 49 private) were withdrawn, causing a recasting of the roster. The AIQ roster for MD/MS remains unchanged.
- College-wise and category-wise cut-offs will follow once the seat allotment results are out.

What Candidates Should Do Now For NEET PG 2025
- If you haven’t locked your choices yet, do so by 12 noon today.
- After the result release on 22 Nov, check your allotment status on mcc.nic.in.
- Prepare all required documents: admit card, NEET PG result, MBBS/BDS degree/internship certificate, registration certificate, ID proof, etc.
- Keep monitoring the official website for any last-minute changes or notifications.
- Be ready to report to your allotted institute between 23 Nov and 1 Dec if you are allotted a seat.
- If you are not allotted or wish to upgrade, get ready for Round 2 – check the schedule and process.
