National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET 2025 Result on 14th June, 2025, at its official website neet.nta.nic.in. Over 22 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG exam this year, and 12.36 lakh of them have qualified for the next stage. Candidates can now download their individual scorecards, final answer key, and check the all-India merit list online.
How to Download NEET 2025 Scorecard?
To access their results, candidates must:
- Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘NEET 2025 Scorecard’ download link
- Enter Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
- Submit the form to view and download the result
- Take a printout for future counselling processes
In case of forgotten passwords, candidates can retrieve access via three methods: security question, OTP on registered mobile/email, or reset link sent to the registered email.
NEET 2025 Result: Highlights

This year saw a decline in registrations compared to 2024 (24.06 lakh), though participation remained strong.
NEET 2025 Result: State-wise Qualifying Candidates
This year, the highest number of candidates qualified from UP. According to the latest statistics:
- Uttar Pradesh: 1,70,684 qualified
- Maharashtra: 1,25,727 qualified
- Rajasthan: 1,19,865 qualified
These three states have the highest number of qualifying candidates in NEET UG 2025.
NEET 2025 Merit Lists
NTA publishes multiple merit lists:
- Overall Merit List: Includes all candidates who appeared and is forwarded to the counselling authorities.
- 15% AIQ Merit List: For candidates eligible under the All India Quota.
- State Quota Merit Lists: Created individually by each state for their 85% quota based on NTA data.
The NTA has released the top 100 AIR holders, including toppers from different categories, states, and genders.

What’s Next After NEET 2025 Result?
Candidates who qualify the NEET UG exam are eligible to participate in counselling processes conducted by:
- Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% AIQ seats
- Respective state authorities for 85% state quota seats
The counselling schedule will be published soon by MCC and state bodies. Qualified candidates must register separately for the relevant counselling rounds.
