NCHMCT JEE 2026 Notification Released, Registration in December

The National Testing Agency confirmed the entrance exam details for admission to the B.Sc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme. Online registration is expected to open in the second week of December 2025, and the Computer-Based Test is likely to be held in the second week of April 2026.

 

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Registration and Exam Schedule

The NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam serves as the national-level entrance for admission to IHMs affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with English as a subject may apply provisionally once the application form is activated.

Key Features of NCHMCT JEE 2026

The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of NCHMCT. It is accepted for admissions to Central, State, Private and PPP IHMs across India. The degree is awarded through Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, as per the official brochure.

 

Highlights of the entrance exam include the Computer-Based Test mode, bilingual question paper (English and Hindi except English section), and a total of 200 questions for 200 marks.

 

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The question paper consists of five sections. The exam evaluates numerical aptitude, reasoning skills, general awareness, English proficiency and service-sector aptitude.

The marking scheme awards +4 marks for every correct answer and deducts 1 mark for every incorrect response.

 

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board with English as a compulsory subject. There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. Admission is based on the All India Rank followed by centralized counselling. Seats are allotted according to merit and preference.
