Mumbai University Revises Winter 2025 Examination Dates Again

Mumbai University revises the Winter 2025 examination dates once again following adjustments required due to the conduct of Zilla Parishad elections. The decision impacts several undergraduate and postgraduate examinations scheduled during the winter session. The revised timetable applies to affiliated colleges and departments under the university.

Reason Behind MU Winter 2025 Exam Date Revision

The university revises the exam schedule to avoid clashes with election-related duties assigned to teaching and non-teaching staff. Zilla Parishad elections require large-scale administrative deployment, making it necessary to reschedule examinations. The move aims to ensure smooth conduct of both examinations and electoral processes.

Courses Affected by the Revised Schedule

The revised Winter 2025 exam timetable affects multiple streams, including:

• Arts and Humanities
• Social Sciences
• Commerce and Science programmes
• Select professional and interdisciplinary courses

Students enrolled in these programmes must take note of the updated dates.

Updated Exam Schedule and Instructions

Mumbai University issues a revised notification outlining the new exam dates. Students are required to:

• Check subject-wise exam dates carefully
• Note changes in examination slots, if any
• Coordinate with colleges for internal assessment schedules

All examinations will continue to follow existing examination rules and evaluation patterns.

Advisory for Students and Colleges

Students are advised to regularly monitor official university notices and remain in contact with their respective colleges for further clarifications. Colleges are instructed to communicate schedule changes clearly to students and ensure proper exam arrangements. The repeated revision of the MU Winter 2025 exam dates reflects the university’s effort to balance academic schedules with administrative responsibilities during the election period.
