The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has invited applications for the Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer (ADPO) Recruitment 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 17 vacancies in the state prosecution department. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal mppsc.mp.gov.in once the application window opens. The written examination is scheduled to be conducted on 18 October 2026.

MPPSC ADPO 2026 Vacancy Distribution

The vacancies are distributed across different categories as per government reservation rules. This recruitment also includes reservations for women and persons with disabilities. Category-wise distribution of posts includes:

  • Unreserved (UR): 5 posts
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 3 posts
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 3 posts
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 4 posts
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 2 posts

These posts fall under Rajpatrit Grade-II service in the Madhya Pradesh government.

 

MPPSC ADPO 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post must meet the educational and age requirements specified in the recruitment notification. The key eligibility conditions include:

  • Applicants must hold a Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised university.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with first-division academic records or legal practice experience.
  • The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years.
  • Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2027, with relaxation for reserved categories.
