The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has commenced the Class 12 board examinations 2026 from 10 February 2026. The exams will continue until 7 March 2026 with morning sessions at designated centres across the state. Nearly 7 lakh students are appearing for the annual assessments.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has started the Class 12 board examinations for the academic year 2025-26 on 10 February 2026. As per the revised timetable, the annual board tests for Class 12 students will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode across thousands of centres in the state, continuing through 7 March 2026.

 

MPBSE Class 12 Exam Dates & Schedule

The MP Board’s Class 12 exam schedule for 2026 was released earlier and revised before the examination cycle. According to the latest timetable, exams for Class 12 began on 10 February 2026 and will conclude on 7 March 2026, with theory papers held in the morning session from 9 AM to 12 noon on each scheduled date. Students should check the official MPBSE date sheet 2026 for their specific subject dates and ensure they report to their exam centres on time. Exams typically start with subjects like English on the first day and proceed through other streams — science, commerce and arts — as per the timetable.

 

MPBSE Class 12 Exam Day Reporting Time and Conduct Rules

MP Board officials and administrators have outlined reporting time and key exam rules for the safety and integrity of the evaluation process:

  • Candidates must reach their exam centres by at least 8 AM, well before the distribution of question papers.
  • The question paper distribution generally begins around 8:50 AM, and the exam starts strictly at 9 AM.
  • Students are advised to carry their MPBSE Class 12 admit card, valid ID and essential stationery.
  • Electronic devices, mobile phones, smart watches or any prohibited items are not allowed inside the examination halls.

Strict measures such as CCTV monitoring, honesty boxes for prohibited items and other surveillance initiatives are in place to prevent malpractice during the board exams.

 

MPBSE Class 12 Student Participation & Exam Centres

Across Madhya Pradesh, nearly 7 lakh Class 12 students are appearing for the board exams in the 2026 cycle, with exam centres set up statewide. Authorities have implemented enhanced security protocols including CCTV surveillance, flying squads and mobile signal jammers at sensitive centres to ensure fair and transparent conduct of the examinations.

 

What’s Next After MPBSE Class 12 Exams?

Once the written exams conclude on 7 March 2026, MPBSE will begin the evaluation process. Results for Class 12 board exams are expected to be declared tentatively in May 2026, though official dates will be confirmed later by the board. Students will be able to check their results on the official portals mpbse.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in or mpresults.nic.in when declared.
