MP TET 2026 will now be conducted in both online and offline modes, as announced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The change gives candidates an additional option for appearing in the Teacher Eligibility Test.

MP TET 2026 Exam Mode Changed

MP TET Exam Pattern 2026

MP TET 2026 consists of two papers. Paper 1 is designed for candidates seeking eligibility for teaching at the primary level, while Paper 2 is meant for the upper-primary level.

Both papers consist of 150 objective-type questions carrying 150 marks. The examination duration is 2 hours 30 minutes, and there is no negative marking.

Paper 1 includes five sections. Each section carries 30 questions and 30 marks.

The questions assess candidates on child development, teaching methods, languages, mathematics and environmental studies.

MP TET Paper 2 Exam Pattern

Paper 2 is divided into two parts. Part A is compulsory for all candidates, while Part B contains questions from the subject selected by the candidate.

Candidates can select a concerned subject such as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Mathematics, Science or Social Science for Part B, according to the applicable eligibility requirements.
