The following table summarises the important events and timelines for Round 2 counselling in Madhya Pradesh:

Who Must Participate & Other Instructions?

• All candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 and those who did not get any seat earlier must engage in the Round 2 choice filling process.
• Students interested in upgradation or participating in the Mop-Up round need to register their preference by October 4, 2025. Failure to do so will lead to retention of their current allotment and exclusion from the Mop-Up round.
• Reporting to allotted colleges requires document verification and completing admission formalities within the specified dates.

Penalties and Important Conditions

• Candidates who withdraw their admissions will have to pay a penalty: ₹2,00,000 for the General category, and ₹10,00,000 for the NRI category students. Those who withdraw will be barred from further counselling rounds.
• Students must lock their choices within the deadline. If choices are not locked, their current seat (from Round 1) will remain, but they lose the option to participate in Mop-Up.
