MP NEET UG 2025 Mop-Up Round Allotment Result Postponed

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has announced the postponement of the Mop-Up Round allotment result for the NEET UG 2025 state counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions.

According to the official notice, the decision follows a directive from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) issued on October 28, 2025, under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The MCC instructed all state counselling authorities to weed out candidates who have already joined seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) Round 3 before processing seats in their respective state counselling rounds.

MP DME Postpones Mop-Up Round Result

The Mop-Up Round result, which was originally scheduled for release on October 29, 2025, has now been postponed until further notice. The Madhya Pradesh DME stated that the move aims to ensure complete compliance with the Supreme Court’s directives and to maintain transparency in the counselling process.

Through the notice, the DME advised candidates to regularly check the official websites of the MP DME and the MP Online portal for updates on the revised dates and further instructions.

MCC Directive for NEET UG 2025 State Counselling

The MCC’s October 28 notice clarified that all state authorities must remove AIQ Round-3 joined candidates before conducting state-level seat processing. This measure ensures that candidates who have already secured seats through All India Quota counselling are not allotted seats again through state counselling, thereby preventing dual seat allotments.

The MCC also mentioned that the Round-3 result of UG Counselling 2025 conducted by MCC has already been published, and there is no provision for resignation in this round.

Furthermore, the MCC informed that state counselling authorities will be able to download the list of AIQ-joined candidates from its data-sharing portal after November 1, 2025.

Compliance with Supreme Court Guidelines

The directive from MCC follows the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s order, which mandates that all counselling authorities strictly ensure non-duplication of seat allotments across AIQ and state quota rounds. This measure aims to make the NEET UG counselling process more efficient and transparent, benefiting thousands of medical aspirants.

What Candidates Should Know?

Candidates awaiting the MP NEET UG 2025 Mop-Up Round allotment are advised to:

  • Check official portals – dme.mponline.gov.in and dme.mponline.gov.in – for revised result dates.
  • Stay alert for new announcements regarding the result publication and reporting schedule.
  • Avoid misinformation, as the updated schedule will be released only after MCC’s confirmation.

The Mop-Up Round result will be declared once the verification of AIQ-joined candidates is completed and clearance is granted by the MCC.
