The list includes category-wise details and candidates must participate in choice filling and locking from 7 to 11 February 2026 to progress in the state counselling process.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has released the Round 3 merit list for NEET PG 2025 counselling, marking a key milestone in the state’s postgraduate medical admission process for MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) programmes. A total of 5,344 candidates have been declared eligible for the next stage of counselling based on their NEET PG performance and state-level ranking.

 

MP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Merit List: Key Details

The recently published merit list includes detailed information for all qualified candidates. It covers data such as Common Rank, MP State Rank, NEET PG All India Rank (AIR), candidate type, category eligibility, MP domicile status, NEET percentile, and whether the candidate is eligible under the in-service quota. In total, the list comprises:

  • 2,461 candidates shortlisted under the open (INST) category
  • 2,522 candidates in the open (non-INST) category
  • 361 in-service candidates declared eligible
  • 42 candidates under the in-service (non-INST) category

This stratification helps candidates understand their relative standing and eligibility for counselling and seat allocation in participating medical colleges.

 

MP NEET PG 2025 Choice Filling and Counselling Schedule

Following the publication of the merit list, eligible aspirants must participate in choice filling and locking to indicate their preferred colleges and specialisations for MD/MS admissions. As per the counselling schedule, the choice filling window is open from 7 to 11 February 2026. Candidates who successfully lock their choices within this period will move forward in the state counselling process, which ultimately leads to seat allotments based on merit ranks, preferences, and available seats in affiliated medical institutions across Madhya Pradesh.

During the counselling and verification process, applicants will be required to present key documents, including but not limited to:

  • NEET PG admit card and scorecard
  • MBBS degree certificate
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  • Proof of identity (such as Aadhar or Passport)
  • Reservation certificate, if applicable
  • Domicile certificate for MP state eligibility
