The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh (DME MP) has announced the MP NEET PG 2025 mop-up round seat allotment results, revising the list after excluding candidates who secured admission through the All India Quota (AIQ). The updated allotment reflects changes in seat distribution following the removal of ineligible candidates. The result and allotment order are available on the official website — dme.mponline.gov.in.
Key Highlights of Mop-Up Round 3
As per official data:
- 2,221 candidates have been included in the mop-up round 3 allotment list.
- 924 candidates have been newly allotted seats in this round.
- 71 candidates received seat upgrades from round 1.
- 365 candidates were upgraded from round 2.
- 228 candidates did not receive any upgrade.
The counselling authority stated that nearly 1,588 postgraduate medical seats have been filled so far. However, more than 500 seats remain vacant, suggesting the possibility of additional counselling rounds. The lowest score recorded in mop-up round 3 stood at 14 marks, indicating the closing performance threshold in this phase.
AIQ Candidates Declared Ineligible
A total of 1,153 candidates were found to have already secured admission under the All India Quota counselling process. These candidates were declared ineligible to participate in the MP state mop-up round and subsequent counselling rounds.
Reporting Schedule and Verification Process
According to the revised counselling schedule, candidates allotted seats in mop-up round 3 must report physically to their respective colleges for document verification between February 17 and February 19. Failure to complete reporting and verification formalities within the stipulated deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat. Candidates must download their allotment order from the official portal before reporting.
Security Deposit Details
To participate in the mop-up round choice filling process:
- Non-NRI candidates were required to deposit a refundable security amount of ₹2 lakh.
- NRI candidates had to deposit ₹10 lakh as a refundable security fee.
DME MP has advised candidates to strictly adhere to the reporting timeline and ensure all required documents are presented during verification. Further updates regarding vacant seats and possible additional counselling rounds are expected to be released on the official website.
