Eligible candidates who have not yet registered or locked their preferences are advised to do so without delay to participate in this round of admissions.
What’s the Mop-Up Round About?
The mop-up round serves as an additional opportunity for candidates who:
- qualified NEET UG 2025 but were not allotted a seat in earlier rounds, or
- wish to upgrade their seat within the state-quota process in Madhya Pradesh.
This round covers leftover or newly vacant MBBS/BDS seats after earlier allotments.
Key Steps & Deadlines for Candidates
Here are the important steps and deadlines associated with the mop-up round:
*Candidates should check the official DME MP websitedme.mponline.gov.in for the final confirmed schedule.
What Candidates Must Know?
- Ensure all documents (NEET-UG scorecard, class 10/12 marksheets, category/domicile certificates) are ready for verification.
- If you were already allotted a seat earlier and wish to upgrade, you must resign the earlier seat and register for the mop-up round to remain eligible.
- Monitor the vacancy list as new seats may get added or released by medical colleges.
Why This Round Matters?
For many aspirants who missed earlier rounds or are seeking better seats, this mop-up provides a final chance within the Madhya Pradesh state quota for MBBS/BDS courses. Given ongoing seat additions and updates, timely participation can be critical.
