The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has officially announced the results for the Class 10 (High School Certificate) examinations of 2026. This significant update was shared during a press conference led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, marking a pivotal moment for students across the state.

 

This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 students reached 73.42%, reflecting a stable academic performance throughout Madhya Pradesh. A particularly noteworthy aspect of this year's results is the impressive performance of government schools, which achieved a pass percentage of 76.80%. In contrast, private schools recorded a lower pass rate of 68.64%.

 

Continuing a trend observed in previous years, girls have once again demonstrated exceptional performance, reinforcing their status as strong contenders in academic achievements.

 

Examination Details

The Class 10 board examinations were conducted from February 13 to March 7, 2026. Over 9 lakh students registered for the exams, with approximately 8.7 to 8.8 lakh candidates actually appearing for them. The evaluation process adhered to standardized guidelines to ensure fairness and uniformity in assessment across various subjects.

 

Results and Marksheet Access

The digital marksheet, which is now available online, includes essential details such as:

  • Student name
  • Roll number
  • Subject-wise marks
  • Total score
  • Division
  • Qualifying status

 

To successfully pass the examination, students were required to achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as an overall score. Those who did not meet these criteria will have the opportunity to sit for supplementary examinations, with the schedule for these assessments expected to be announced shortly.
