The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will begin the Class 12 board examinations on 10 February 2026 with enhanced surveillance at examination centres. CCTV cameras, flying squads and other anti‑cheating arrangements have been deployed at many centres to ensure transparent and fair conduct of the exams.
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is set to commence the Class 12 board examinations from 10 February 2026 across multiple examination centres in the state. MPBSE has implemented strengthened surveillance measures, including CCTV cameras at select centres and additional monitoring units, to prevent malpractice and ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.
MPBSE 2026 Important Dates and Exam Schedule
Students should take note of key dates for the upcoming board examinations:
- Class 12 Board Exam Start Date: 10 February 2026
- Exam Timings: Typically from morning until early afternoon; specific schedule to be confirmed with the official timetable
- Reporting Time: Students are advised to arrive well before scheduled start time to complete entry procedures
Examination centres have been prepared across Madhya Pradesh, with a large number of students expected to appear in both Class 10 and Class 12 exams. Practical examinations and related assessments are also part of the overall schedule to be conducted as per MPBSE guidelines.
MPBSE 2026: Enhanced CCTV Surveillance and Monitoring Measures
To discourage unfair practices during the examinations, MPBSE has installed CCTV cameras at several examination centres, particularly in sensitive locations. Live feeds from these cameras will be accessible at control rooms to aid real‑time monitoring. In addition to CCTV surveillance, flying squads and other supervisory units will be deployed to conduct random checks and swiftly address any irregularities observed during the exams. These measures align with the board’s broader goal of ensuring exam integrity and maintaining transparency. Education officials have emphasised that all stakeholders, including centre staff and invigilators, must adhere strictly to the prescribed conduct protocols to uphold the credibility of the MP Board examinations.
MPBSE 2026 Exam Instructions for Students
Students appearing for the Class 12 exams should follow key instructions to avoid any disruptions:
- Arrive at the exam centre well before the scheduled reporting time.
- Carry the admit card and necessary stationery items only; electronic gadgets are prohibited.
- Follow all directives given by invigilators and adhere to seating arrangements and examination protocols.
Candidates and guardians are encouraged to check the official MPBSE website or school notices for detailed timetables, centre lists, and updated guidelines before the exam day.
