There are 165 seats available for admission to the MIT MDes program. The MIT DAT BDes results were released earlier on 19th May, 2025. Admission to MITID is based on the performance of the candidate in the DAT, studio test, and personal interview rounds.

MIT DAT 2025: Exam Overview
The MIT Design Aptitude Test (MIT DAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to B.Des and M.Des programs offered by the MIT Institute of Design in Pune, Avantika University in Ujjain, and MIT University in Shillong. The admission process includes multiple stages, beginning with the Design Entrance Test (DET), and followed by a Studio Test and Personal Interview for candidates who qualify the initial round.
