MICAT 2026 Result Declared Early, MICAT 1 Scorecard Released

Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) has declared the MICAT 2026 result a day ahead of the official schedule. As per the earlier notification, the MICAT scorecard was to be released on December 24, 2025. However, candidates who appeared for the exam on December 6, 2025 can now check their results online.

The MICAT 2026 scorecard is available on the official MICA website. Candidates can log in using their MICA ID and password, which are the same credentials used during the admit card download process. The institute has confirmed that MICAT scores carry 25 per cent weightage in the final PGDM admission process.

How to Check MICAT 2026 Result Online?

Candidates can follow the step-by-step process given below to check and download their MICAT 2026 scorecard.

  1. Visit the official MICA PGDM admission portal.
  2. Next, click on the MICAT 2026 scorecard option available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required login details, including MICA ID and password.

MICAT 2026 Weightage in Final Selection

MICA follows a multi-stage selection process for PGDM admissions. MICAT plays a significant role in shortlisting candidates. The weightage distribution includes:

  • MICAT score: 25 per cent
  • CAT/XAT/GMAT score: 35 per cent
  • GE and PI performance: Remaining weightage

Candidates shortlisted based on MICAT 2026 scores will be considered eligible for the Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds.

MICAT 2 Registration 2026 Ongoing

Candidates who are not satisfied with their MICAT 1 performance can appear for the second phase of the exam. MICA allows the best of two MICAT scores to be considered for the final merit list.

The key MICAT 2 dates are given below.

  • MICAT 2 registration last date: January 29, 2026
  • MICAT 2 exam date: February 13, 2026
  • MICAT 2 admit card release: February 10, 2026

The MICAT 2 exam pattern and structure will remain the same as MICAT 1.

What Happens After MICAT Results?

Candidates shortlisted through MICAT will be invited for the next selection rounds. Final admission to MICA PGDM programmes depends on combined performance in entrance exams, MICAT, and GE-PI-WAT stages. Candidates are advised to regularly check official updates related to MICAT 2, GE-PI schedules, and final merit lists to avoid missing important deadlines.
