MHT CET CAP 2026 Document Verification Starts

The Maharashtra CET Cell has initiated the CAP 2026 document verification process as part of the ongoing engineering admission procedure. Verification is mandatory for all candidates who have registered for the counselling process. Only candidates whose applications are successfully verified will be included in the MHT CET CAP 2026 merit list. Candidates have the flexibility to choose between E-Scrutiny (online verification) and Physical Scrutiny (offline verification) according to their preference selected during registration. MHT CET CAP 2026 Verification Modes

The CET Cell has provided two methods for completing document verification. Candidates should carefully follow the instructions applicable to their selected verification mode.

• E-Scrutiny (Online Verification): Candidates opting for E-Scrutiny are not required to visit any Facilitation Centre. They need to upload all the prescribed documents through the official CAP portal. Once the uploaded documents are verified successfully, the application will be confirmed online, and the acknowledgement receipt will be made available in the candidate's login dashboard. After successful verification, the Facilitation Centre will confirm the application and issue an acknowledgement receipt, which should be preserved for future admission stages.

Following the resolution of objections, the authority will publish the final merit list on July 20, 2026.
