MHT CET 2026 will have two documents - city intimation slip and final hall ticket. The slip shows exam city, while the hall ticket is mandatory for exam entry.
The MHT CET 2026 admit card process has changed this year, with candidates receiving two separate documents - a city intimation slip (provisional hall ticket) and the final hall ticket. These serve different purposes, and candidates must understand the distinction to avoid confusion.
MHT CET 2026 City Intimation Slip vs Hall Ticket Key Differences
The MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip is released before the final admit card. It provides early information about the exam city but does not allow entry to the exam hall. Here is the key difference:
MHT CET 2026 City Intimation Slip Details and Use
The MHT CET city intimation slip 2026 helps candidates know:
- Allotted exam city
- Likely exam date/slot (basic info)
This document is useful for travel planning, especially for candidates appearing outside their home city. However, it does not include the complete exam centre address.
MHT CET 2026 Hall Ticket Importance for Exam Day
The MHT CET hall ticket 2026 is the final admit card and a mandatory document for exam entry. It will be released 3–4 days before the exam date.
It contains:
- Candidate details
- Exact exam centre address
- Exam date and shift timing
- Important instructions
Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
Why MHT CET 2026 Has Two Admit Cards?
The introduction of two documents helps candidates in better planning:
- City slip → Early information for travel planning
- Hall ticket → Final verified document for exam entry
This system ensures candidates are informed in advance while maintaining exam security by releasing full centre details later.
What Candidates Should Do?
- Download both documents when released
- Use the city slip for early planning
- Carry the hall ticket printout on exam day
- Check all details carefully to avoid discrepancies
The MHT CET 2026 admit card update makes it important for candidates to track both releases and follow instructions carefully.
