MHT CET 2026 New Registration Rule: No Aadhaar/APAAR Needed (From Feb 13)
According to the official notice issued by the CET Cell on 12 February 2026, candidates struggling to complete Aadhaar or APAAR verification during the MHT CET application process can now register without these authentication steps starting 13 February 2026. This change comes as a relief for students who reported difficulties with the earlier mandatory verification process. Although Aadhaar and APAAR authentication remain the preferred mode of verification for most applicants, the CET Cell has clarified that candidates facing technical or genuine issues can proceed without it to ensure wider participation.
MHT CET 2026: Extended Registration Deadline and Registration Link
The MHT CET 2026 registration window has been extended to 20 February 2026, giving students additional time to complete their application forms. All candidates, including those opting to register without authentication, must submit their applications by this deadline. To apply online, candidates need to visit the official MHT CET portal at cetcell.mahacet.org and complete the form with accurate details, including personal, academic, and contact information.
Who Can Use the New Facility?
This relaxation is specifically for students who encounter issues with Aadhaar or APAAR verification while filling out the MHT CET application form.
