MHT CET 2026 Registration Crosses 1.77 Lakh, Deadline Nears

More than 1.77 lakh candidates have completed MHT CET 2026 registration across PCM, PCB, and MBA/MMS streams. The application process will close on 12 February 2026, while exams are scheduled from April.

MHT CET 2026 Registration Crosses 1.77 Lakh, Deadline Nears

MHT CET 2026 registration has crossed the 1.77 lakh mark, according to data released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. A total of 1,77,518 candidates have registered so far for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and MAH MBA/MMS CET.

 

Candidates who have not yet applied must complete the registration process by 12 February 2026. The MHT CET 2026 application form is available online at the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.

 

MHT CET 2026 Exam Dates and Schedule

As per the official schedule, the MHT CET 2026 examination will be conducted in multiple sessions for different streams. The PCM and PCB groups have separate exam windows to manage the large number of applicants. The key exam dates announced by the CET Cell are highlighted below.

  • MHT CET 2026 PCM group session 1 will be held from 11 April 2026 to 19 April 2026.
  • The PCB group session 1 examinations are scheduled from 21 April 2026 to 26 April 2026.

 

MHT CET 2026 PCM Stream Records Highest Registrations

Among all streams, the PCM group has recorded the highest number of registrations. The CET Cell data shows strong participation from engineering aspirants across Maharashtra.

 

A detailed overview of PCM registrations is given below. A total of 1,07,627 candidates have completed registration by paying the application fee. Around 18,760 applications are currently under processing. About 30,281 candidates are appearing for MHT CET for the first time, while 77,346 candidates have opted to appear in both attempts.

 

MHT CET PCB Registration 2026 Crosses 53,000

The PCB stream, conducted mainly for admissions to pharmacy and agriculture-related courses, has also seen significant registrations this year.

 

According to official figures, 53,176 candidates have registered for the MHT CET 2026 PCB examination. Nearly 9,577 applications are still under processing. In terms of attempts, 28,474 candidates have opted for the first attempt, while 24,702 candidates have chosen to appear in both attempts.

 

MHT CET Last Three Years’ Registration Statistics by District

The CET Cell has also released district-wise registration data for the last three years. The figures show consistent growth in major districts across Maharashtra. The top districts with the highest MHT CET registration counts are listed below.

 

Category-Wise MHT CET 2026 Registration Data

The category-wise registration data reflects participation across diverse groups. For the combined PCM and PCB exams, 7 candidates have registered under the ‘Other’ gender category. A total of 359 candidates have registered under the orphan category. Additionally, 394 candidates have registered under the Persons with Disabilities category, indicating inclusive participation in MHT CET 2026.
