The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will close the MHT CET 2026 registration window on February 12, 2026. Candidates who have not yet completed their application must submit the form through the official website — cetcell.mahacet.org. While the application form submission deadline is February 12, candidates can pay the MHT CET 2026 application fee till February 13, 2026. MHT CET is conducted for admission to undergraduate professional programmes in Engineering (PCM group) and Pharmacy/Biological Sciences (PCB group) across Maharashtra colleges.
MHT CET 2026 Registration: Important Details
Applicants must select their subject group (PCM or PCB) and number of attempts while filling out the application form. For successful registration, candidates are required to provide Aadhaar and APAAR ID. As of now, the CET Cell has not issued any official notification regarding the extension of the MHT CET 2026 application deadline.
MHT CET 2026 Application Fee (Revised)
The registration fee has been increased this year:
- General category (one group – PCM or PCB): INR 1300
- General category (both groups): INR 2600
- Reserved categories (both groups): INR 2000
The fee has been increased by INR 300 for general category and INR 200 for reserved category candidates compared to the previous year.

Will MHT CET 2026 Registration Be Extended?
Earlier, the State CET Cell extended registration deadlines for other CET courses such as MCA, M.HMCT, MAH-BPED CET, and MAH-B.Ed-M.Ed. This has led to speculation that the MHT CET 2026 deadline may also be extended. However, there is no official confirmation regarding an extension. Candidates are therefore advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.
