MHT CET 2026 as Single Entrance Test for BHMCT, BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM

MHT CET 2026 will now have a unified entrance test for several undergraduate courses. The Maharashtra CET Cell has merged the earlier separate exams into a single format to simplify the process for students. The change will apply from the 2026 admission cycle.
According to the official notification, the new exam will be titled MAH–B.HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM–CET 2026. This test will replace the two separate CETs conducted earlier for B.HMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses.

The decision was taken because all these courses share common eligibility criteria. A single CET ensures a streamlined process for aspirants applying for multiple courses under the professional undergraduate category. It also makes the admission procedure more efficient for the Maharashtra CET Cell.
The new combined exam will cover students seeking admission to:
- Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT)
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)
The CET Cell has also released the tentative exam schedule for 2026, confirming that the MAH–B.HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2026 will be held from April 28 to April 30.
MHT CET 2026 Tentative Schedule for All Courses
The Maharashtra CET Cell has issued a detailed tentative calendar for multiple entrance examinations scheduled in 2026. This schedule helps aspirants plan their preparation and ensures clarity about the sequence of exams.
Before listing the dates, the schedule covers undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses across various fields.

The updated schedule indicates that all exams will take place across March, April and May 2026, allowing adequate gaps between key tests.
