MHT CET 2026 April 20 Exam Today: Shift Timings, Dress Code

MHT CET 2026 April 20 exam is being conducted today by the State CET Cell. The exam for Shift 1 begins at 9:00 AMand will be held in two shifts. Candidates must follow the reporting schedule and entry rules strictly. The exam duration is 3 hours, consisting of 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject carries 50 questions, divided into two papers.

 

MHT CET 2026 April 20 Shift Timings and Reporting Schedule

Candidates must arrive at the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Late entry is not permitted under any circumstances. The complete shift-wise schedule is provided below:

 

MHT CET 2026 Exam Pattern for PCM Group

The exam follows a structured pattern divided into two sections. Candidates must complete each section within the given time limit.

  • Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry (90 minutes)
  • Paper 2: Mathematics (90 minutes)
  • Total Questions: 150 (50 per subject)

Once the first 90 minutes end, Paper 1 is automatically submitted. Candidates then proceed to the Mathematics section.

 

MHT CET 2026 Documents Required at Exam Centre

Candidates must carry essential documents to the exam hall for verification. Entry will not be allowed without proper documents. The following items are mandatory:

  • MHT CET 2026 hall ticket
  • Valid photo ID proof
  • Passport-size photograph

 

MHT CET 2026 Dress Code Guidelines

Candidates are required to follow the prescribed dress code to avoid issues during frisking and verification. Recommended clothing includes simple and comfortable attire:

  • Light-weight shirts or T-shirts
  • Simple trousers or pants
  • Open footwear like slippers or sandals

Items that should be avoided include:

  • Full sleeve shirts with large buttons
  • Jackets, hoodies, or sweaters (unless necessary)
  • Jeans with multiple pockets
  • Shoes with thick soles

Candidates are advised to follow all instructions carefully to ensure smooth entry and avoid disqualification on exam day.
