MHT CET 2026 April 16 Shift 1 exam has concluded successfully for the PCM group. The Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducted the exam in computer-based mode across various centres. Candidates can now review the paper analysis and prepare accordingly for upcoming shifts.

The first shift of the MHT CET 2026 PCM exam was held for a duration of three hours. The paper was divided into two sections with Physics and Chemistry combined, followed by Mathematics. Based on initial student feedback, the subject-wise difficulty level is as follows:

  • Physics: Doable but lengthy
  • Chemistry: Easiest among the three
  • Mathematics: Calculative and lengthy
  • Overall Difficulty: Moderate

  • Total Marks: 200 marks
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Physics & Chemistry: First 90 minutes
  • Mathematics: Next 90 minutes
  • No negative marking for incorrect answers

The system automatically submits the first section before moving to Mathematics.

 

MHT CET 2026 April 16 Shift 2 Reporting Time and Schedule

Candidates appearing for Shift 2 must strictly follow the reporting schedule mentioned on their admit card. The detailed Shift 2 timings are given below:

  • Entry in Exam Hall: 12:30 PM
  • Last Entry Allowed: 1:45 PM
  • Login for Instructions: 1:50 PM
  • Exam Start Time: 2:00 PM
  • Exam End Time: 5:00 PM

Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

 

MHT CET 2026 Dress Code and Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must adhere to the prescribed dress code to ensure smooth entry into the exam centre. Recommended attire includes:

  • Light-weight clothing
  • Simple trousers or pants
  • Slippers or sandals

Candidates should avoid:

  • Full sleeve outfits with large buttons
  • Jackets or heavy clothing
  • Shoes with thick soles or multiple pockets

Following these guidelines will help avoid delays during frisking and verification.

 

Documents Required for MHT CET 2026 Exam Day

Candidates must carry essential documents to the examination centre. Ensure all documents are valid and ready before reporting to the venue.

  • MHT CET Admit Card
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, School ID)

Failure to carry the required documents may result in denial of entry.
