MHT CET 2026 PCM exam for 16 April has started with shift 1 underway from the morning session. The examination is being conducted in computer-based mode for a duration of three hours. Candidates scheduled for shift 2 must adhere to the reporting timings and guidelines issued by authorities.

 

MHT CET 2026 April 16 PCM Exam Pattern and Timing Details

The exam is being conducted by the Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, in two parts. It is important for candidates to understand the structure before appearing. The first 90 minutes are allotted for Physics and Chemistry, followed by 90 minutes for Mathematics. The total marks for the PCM group are 200 marks, and importantly, there is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions. Once the first section ends, it is automatically submitted, and candidates proceed to the Mathematics section. Proper time management is crucial during both sections.

MHT CET 2026 Dress Code for PCM Exam

Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code to avoid inconvenience at the exam centre. The guidelines apply to both male and female candidates. Recommended attire includes light-weight shirts or T-shirts, simple trousers, and open footwear such as slippers or sandals. Candidates should avoid wearing full sleeve shirts with large buttons, jackets, hoodies, jeans with multiple pockets, and shoes with thick soles unless necessary.
