Academic Qualification

 

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • General Category: 45% aggregate
  • SC/ST (Maharashtra State): 40% aggregate
  • VJNT, SBC, OBC (Maharashtra State): 42% aggregate

 

Age Limit

  • 5-Year LLB:

    • 20 years (General/Open)
    • 22 years (Reserved categories)
  • 3-Year LLB:

    • No upper age limit

 

MH CET Law 2026 Detailed Eligibility for 5-Year LLB

Candidates applying for the five-year LLB programme must:

  • Pass Class 12/Intermediate from a recognised board
  • Secure at least 45% aggregate marks (relaxation as per category)
  • Meet the prescribed age criteria

 

MH CET Law 2026 Detailed Eligibility for 3-Year LLB

For the three-year LLB course, candidates must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Candidates appearing in final year graduation exams may also apply
  • Those who completed Class 10 or 12 via distance mode are eligible
  • Applicants must have completed basic schooling (Class 1–9) from a recognised institution
  • Graduates from Open Universities with preparatory exams are also eligible

 

MH CET Law 2026 Reservation Policy

Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State reserved categories are eligible for relaxation in minimum qualifying marks as specified above. Admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will follow the official reservation norms prescribed by the state authorities.
