The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the examination timetable for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams for the academic year 2025–26. Students can now access and download the official date sheet from the board’s website —mbose.in. According to the official notice, the Class 10 (SSLC) exams will be conducted from January 30 to February 11, 2026, while the Class 12 (HSSLC) examinations are scheduled between February 18 and March 13, 2026.
The board stated that examination halls will open at 9:30 AM, and question papers will be distributed at 9:45 AM. The writing time will begin at 10 AM. For vocational subjects, theory papers will be held for one hour, from 10 AM to 11 AM. In case of any official state or central government event overlapping with the exam schedule, MBOSE may revise the timetable accordingly.

Exam Guidelines and Passing Criteria
The board has advised students to reach their exam centres at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. All examinees must carry their admit card and follow the rules mentioned by the invigilators. To qualify for the SSLC and HSSLC exams, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject.
