MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 admissions have opened for the Fellow Programme in Management. The programme is a doctoral-level course recognised as equivalent to a PhD by the Association of Indian Universities. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications till February 28, 2026.

 

The Fellow Programme in Management is offered by the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is available in Residential and Non-Residential tracks. The programme aims to develop high-quality researchers and academicians in various management disciplines.

 

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 Programme Highlights

The FPM programme at MDI Gurgaon provides strong academic training along with extensive research support. Scholars selected for the programme will receive structured financial assistance throughout the duration of the course.

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 Tracks Explained

The Residential FPM track is intended for candidates aiming to build careers in academics and advanced research. Graduates from this track typically pursue roles in business schools, universities, and research institutions.

 

The Non-Residential FPM track is designed for working professionals and senior executives. This track focuses on applied research and consulting, with special emphasis on sustainability and technology-driven management practices.

 

Areas of Research Offered in MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026

FPM scholars can pursue research across multiple management domains. These areas support both theoretical and applied research work.

 

The major research areas include Accounting and Finance, Economics and Public Policy, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management, Information Management, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, and Business Communication.

 

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet at least one of the prescribed academic qualifications. Applicants should have a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10, Class 12, Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree in any discipline. Candidates with a five-year integrated Master’s degree with at least 60% marks are also eligible.

 

Applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks along with professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or CS with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

 

Age limits vary by track. The Residential FPM has a maximum age limit of 50 years. The Non-Residential FPMrequires a minimum age of 35 years along with at least 10 years of managerial work experience, preferably at a senior level.

 

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 Selection and Test Scores

Admission to FPM 2026 is based on valid scores from national-level examinations. Candidates can apply using scores from CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC-JRF, or GATE. Test scores must be valid as on the application closing date.

 

MDI Gurgaon has encouraged applications from candidates belonging to gender diversity categories, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and diverse rural and urban backgrounds. Eligible candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
