MCOA Launches Maha Mock Test for JEE & CET Aspirants on Teacher’s Day

The Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA), a non-profit body representing over 5,000 coaching institutions across the state, announced the launch of the Maha Mock Test during its Teacher’s Day celebration held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Dadar, on September 13.

 

The initiative, developed in collaboration with Klasy Innovations and powered by Prometric, marks India’s first statewide mock examination program for JEE and MHT-CET aspirants. It aims to provide students with a simulated exam environment, offering both international testing credibility and remedial support.

 

Key Highlights of Maha Mock Test 2025

The Maha Mock Test carries deep symbolic and strategic significance for students:

  • Launch Date: Introduced on Teacher’s Day (September 13), highlighting the role of educators in student success.
  • Registration Deadline: November 14, observed as Children’s Day, reinforcing the student-first vision of the initiative.
  • Exam Focus: Aligned with JEE sessions in January and April, and MHT-CET in May, ensuring students get timely preparation and feedback.
  • Equal Access: Students from metro cities like Mumbai to remote regions such as Nandurbar will benefit equally.
  • Additional Benefits: Includes detailed remedial insights, career guidance, and follow-up sessions for performance improvement.

MCOA President Prajesh Trotsky emphasized that the program is not only about academic preparation but also about “empowerment and revolutionizing the learning process.”

The event featured prominent guests from academia, entrepreneurship, and public service:

  • Chief Guest: Dr. Sandip Jha, Chairman, Sandip Group of Institutes (Nasik & Bihar).
  • Guests of Honour: Mr. Shreyaan Daga, Co-Founder & CEO of OLL, and the youngest entrepreneur on Shark Tank India; Mr. Mangesh Naik, Retired Sub-Inspector and 26/11 hero.
  • Cultural Segment: Performances by singer Munnawar Ali and beatboxing champions Young Drugs.

 

Teacher Felicitation & Awards

MCOA honoured teachers and class owners who had completed more than 30 years in service and crossed the milestone of 50 years. Awards were distributed across categories, including:

Alongside the Maha Mock Test, MCOA unveiled several initiatives to strengthen the coaching community:

  • FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators): A coalition of eight coaching bodies to address policy issues such as the proposed Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms.
  • CBS Foundation Collaboration: Covering teachers under group insurance, student aptitude testing, and career guidance.
  • Seed Ball Initiative: Mission to plant 10 lakh trees and conduct one crore seed ball tossings with support from SAAZ Entertainment.
  • CSR Partnership: Tie-up with Raj Foundation to launch skill development and placement drives for differently-abled students.
