All India Management Association has officially announced the exam dates for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2025, putting an end to weeks of speculation among MBA aspirants. According to the official notification, the paper-based test (PBT) will be held on September 21, 2025, while the computer-based test (CBT) will take place on September 28, 2025.
This confirmation gives thousands of candidates across India a well-defined timeline to strengthen their preparation for one of the country’s most widely recognized national-level MBA entrance exams.
How to Strategize MAT 2025 Preparation
With the exam dates now confirmed, experts suggest that aspirants adopt a systematic study plan. Candidates appearing in the exam should divide their schedule into concept revision, mock tests, and weak-area targeting.
- 6–8 weeks of mock practice simulating real exam conditions is highly recommended.
- AIMA’s MAT paper assesses five sections:
- Language Comprehension
- Mathematical Skills
- Data Analysis & Sufficiency
- Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
- Indian & Global Environment
Historical trends suggest that successful candidates solve 15–20 years’ worth of previous papers while also focusing on speed and accuracy. Balancing performance across all sections is crucial, as a low percentile in even one area can impact the overall score.
