Maharashtra State CET Cell Announces Round 3 MBBS, BDS Admissions

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the third round of admissions for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2025–26. According to the latest notification, 891 seats remain vacant and will be filled through this round.

 

The online registration window for the third round is open from October 6 to October 8, 2025. During this period, candidates must complete registration, upload required documents, and pay the prescribed fees through the official CET portal.

 

Maharashtra MBBS, BDS Admission Round 3 Schedule

The State CET Cell has released a detailed schedule outlining the registration and allotment process for the third round of NEET UG counselling.

Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the allotted college within the specified dates to confirm their admission. Failure to report will result in seat forfeiture.

 

891 Seats Vacant After Round 2

After the completion of the second round of NEET UG counselling, a total of 2,718 seats remained vacant in various MBBS and BDS programmes. Out of these, 2,696 seats were allotted, but only 1,827 students confirmed their admission.

 

Additionally, 852 students declined their allotted seats, and 17 candidates cancelled their admission after allotment, leaving 891 seats available for this third round.

 

Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Admission Process

Candidates must ensure all details and documents are correctly uploaded during the registration period. The seat allotment will be based on merit, category, and college preferences filled in the option form.

 

The CET Cell Maharashtra has advised applicants to check the official website regularly for updates on merit lists and seat allotment results.
