Maharashtra NMMS Result 2026 Out: Check Class 8th Merit List

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune has officially announced the NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) Result 2026 for students of Class 8 on 24 February 2026. The results, including the state-level merit list, are now available for students who appeared in this scholarship examination for the academic year 2025-26.

 

How to Download Maharashtra NMMS Result 2026?

Students who took the NMMS exam can check and download their results by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official result portal: mscenmms.in or mscepune.in.
  2. On the homepage, find and click the link titled “Maharashtra NMMS Result 2026” or “NMMS Merit List 2025-26”.
  3. Enter the 13-digit seat number and mother’s name (if prompted).
  4. The scorecard showing MAT and SAT marks, total marks, rank and qualifying status will appear on screen.
  5. Download and save/print the result for future reference.

 

What the NMMS Result Shows?

The NMMS result 2026 typically includes:

  • Student’s name and seat number
  • School name and code
  • Section-wise marks in MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
  • Total score and rank
  • Selection status (Qualified/Not Qualified)

 

NMMS Scholarship Details and Next Steps

The NMMS scheme is aimed at supporting meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds and encouraging them to continue education beyond Class 8. Selected students in Maharashtra will receive an annual scholarship of INR 12,000 (INR 1,000 per month) from Classes 9 to 12. To avail the scholarship:

  • Students should complete document verification at their schools.
  • A joint bank account with a parent must be opened and linked with Aadhaar for direct fund transfer under the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
  • Updates and verification schedules will be communicated by the respective schools or MSCE authorities.

Students and parents are advised to regularly check the official MSCE websites and school notices for further instructions regarding scholarship disbursement and verification.
