MSBSHSE conducted the Maharashtra HSC 2026 Hindi exam on Day 2 in the morning shift across 3,387 centres. The board exams will continue until 11 March 2026 with over 13 lakh students appearing this year.

Maharashtra HSC 2026 Day 2: Hindi Exam Analysis and Guidelines as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducted the Hindi paper today. The examination was held in the morning shift from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by the Foreign Language paper in the afternoon shift. The Class 12 board examinations began on 10 February 2026 and are being conducted under strict supervision at 3,387 centres across the state.

 

Maharashtra HSC 2026 Hindi Question Paper Analysis

The Hindi examination on Day 2 was conducted in the first half of the day. Students reported that the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. The question paper assessed grammar, comprehension, writing skills, and literature-based questions. Internal choices were provided in several sections, enabling candidates to attempt questions based on their preparation. Most students found the paper balanced, with a mix of short and long-answer questions. In the second half, the Foreign Language examination was conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

 

Maharashtra HSC 2026 Exam Dates and Time Table

The Maharashtra HSC 2026 examinations are being conducted in two daily shifts. The exams will conclude on 11 March 2026. The shift timings are as follows:

  • Morning Shift: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Some of the key upcoming examination dates include:

  • 12 February 2026: Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada and other language papers (Morning); Urdu, French, Spanish and others (Afternoon)
  • 18 February 2026: Chemistry (Morning); Political Science (Afternoon)
  • 21 February 2026: Mathematics and Statistics (Morning)
  • 24 February 2026: Economics (Morning)
  • 25 February 2026: Biology (Morning)
  • 10 March 2026: Commerce Group Paper 2 (Morning)
  • 11 March 2026: Sociology (Afternoon)

More than 13 lakh students are appearing for the HSC 2026 examination this year.

 

Maharashtra HSC 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The board has issued important instructions to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. Candidates must follow these guidelines strictly:

  • Reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time
  • Carry a hard copy of the HSC admit card and school identity card
  • Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the examination hall
  • Wear proper school uniform
  • Carry only permitted stationery items
  • Use the additional reading time provided before writing begins

The Maharashtra HSC 2026 result is expected to be announced after the completion of the evaluation process. Students are advised to follow official board notifications for updates regarding results, merit list, and further admission procedures.
