MAH BCA CET 2026 Registration Deadline Today, Extension Confirmed

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) had initially scheduled the MAH BCA CET 2026 application deadline for 16 February 2026, which is today. However, to accommodate candidates who are yet to complete the process, the CET Cell has announced an extension of the registration period to 4 March 2026. This extended window applies to MAH BCA CET 2026 as well as other undergraduate course CETs, such as BBA, BBM, BMS, and BHMCT, ensuring aspirants have additional time to submit their application forms on the official portal, cetcell.mahacet.org.

Revised Registration Window & Important Dates

The updated timeline for the MAH BCA CET 2026 application process is as follows:

• Registration start date: 14 January 2026
• Original deadline: 16 February 2026
• Extended deadline: 4 March 2026
• Exam dates (tentative): 28 April to 30 April 2026

Candidates should take advantage of this extension, as the MAH BCA CET 2026 will serve as a key entrance test for admission to Bachelor of Computer Applications programmes in various colleges throughout Maharashtra.

Why the MAH BCA CET 2026 Extension Matters?

The extension gives applicants additional days to complete the often detailed registration process, especially considering new requirements such as APAAR ID generation and Aadhaar authentication. Students who miss this extended deadline may not be eligible to appear in the MAH BCA CET 2026 exam, which plays a crucial role in the admissions cycle for undergraduate professional courses in the state. The CET Cell regularly updates timelines and notifications on the official website, and candidates should keep checking the portal for admit card release dates, exam day instructions and counselling details.
